Radiant Barrier Insulation

Our Thermal Protection Shield Insulation is the ultimate four-barrier system for your home or commercial building.

It’s a thermal and radiant barrier, a vapor barrier, and a sound barrier all in one. It consists of two layers of 99% aluminum foil facings heat laminated to a closed micro-cell foam core. The aluminum facings reflect up to 97% of radiant heat and the micro foam core can provide an R-value of up to 15.6.

The heat lamination means there are no adhesive to add fuel to a fire or toxic fumes to give off. Green Solution’s Thermal Protection Shield has a Class A Class 1 fire rating. The product contains no fiberglass so it has no itchy fibers to breath or cause skin irritation.

The closed cell core is not a honeycomb design, which means condensation cannot occur in the core of the product. Unlike product that contain fiberglass, our shield is unaffected by humidity and will not mildew or promote fungus growth. Unlike products that use plastic bubbles, our shield does not lose its R-value when punctured, compressed or exposed to temperature changes. The closed micro-cell foam structure aids in maintaining the products installed R-value. It maintains its shape and does not sag after installation.
